UCLA hosts conference focused on 20th anniversary of El Salvador peace accords
Event will also explore transnational human, economic development
WHAT:
The UCLA North American Integration and Development Center (NAID) will host a daylong conference focusing on the 20th anniversary of the signing of El Salvador's 1992 peace accords, which brought peace to the country after more than a decade of devastating civil war.
In addition to the accords, participants — including representatives of the Salvadoran government, the U.S. government, the United Nations and UCLA — will discuss current and future agendas for trans-national economic and human development and social inclusion.

The event is co-sponsored by the UCLA Latin American Institute, the César E.
