UCLA ranks 13th in world in prestigious Times Higher Education university rankings

UCLA has maintained its position at No. 13 in the respected London Times Higher Education World University Rankings, an annual assessment of the top 400 universities around the globe. The rankings are based teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
 
UCLA was among five University of California campuses that performed well in the rankings. The others were UC Berkeley (9), UC Santa Barbara (35), UC San Diego (38) and UC Davis (44).
 
UCLA previously did well in the closely watched U.S. News & World Report's rankings, placing second among public universities and tying for 24th overall, one spot higher than last year.
 
The campus has also placed high in other recent rankings.
