Update on Coach John Wooden

Friday morning, June 4: Coach John Wooden is resting comfortably at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and spent a peaceful night. He was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday, May 26, due to dehydration. At the request of the family, no other information regarding Coach Wooden's condition will be released.

Members of the Wooden family and UCLA staff are not available for interviews regarding Coach's condition.

There will be an update this afternoon.
To accommodate news media, two campus locations are available for b-roll and live shots. The sites will be available until 1 p.m. today.

NCAA championship trophies and John Wooden displays. The Hall of Fame is located in the J.D. Morgan Center on campus.
For Pauley Pavilion and Morgan Center: Oversized media news vans and satellite trucks, use turnaround in front of James West Alumni Center. Passenger vehicles, utilize pay stations in Parking Structure 6.
The turnaround and parking structure are at the end of Westwood Plaza, adjacent to Pauley Pavilion and near the Morgan Center. Spill-over parking for news vans is available on the top of Parking Structure 8 (8-foot, 3-inch height limit; 5,000-pound limit).
For medical center: Parking for oversized news trucks is available on southbound Westwood Boulevard, north of Le Conte Avenue. Parking is also available on the yellow curb on the east side of northbound Gayley, south of Charles E. Young Drive South (map). Please observe posted signs.
NOTE: Per the fire marshal, absolutely no parking is allowed on sidewalks or red curbs in front of Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
