DOMINIQUE MISSIAKAS

WHO'S NEW AT UCLA

Position: Assistant Professor of Microbiology, Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics

Background: Missiakas received her bachelor's degree in biochemistry at the University of Science in Montpellier, France, in 1987, and her Ph.D. in enzymology from the University of Paris XI in 1991. From 1993-1995, she served as maitre assistante at the University of Geneva, Switzerland.

Before UCLA: Principal investigator at the Centre National de la Recherche Francaise of Marseilles, France.
