Bruin fans light up the night in anticipation of upcoming battle with USC

Led by a UCLA football squad eager to "burn Troy to the ground," an enthusiastic crowd of more than 3,000 UCLA students, alumni and Bruin fans at Tuesday night's annual "Beat 'SC" bonfire on Wilson Plaza cheered as the giant pyre erupted.
UCLA football coach Jim Mora thanked the crowd for their support this season and urged them to lift the Bruins Saturday as they once again take on their crosstown rival, USC.
In addition to the bonfire, the night's festivities featured several student groups who sang and danced on a large stage facing the plaza and a ceremony honoring UCLA's NCAA National Championship baseball team.
