Updated: Campus police arrest student following party

A UCLA student has been booked on charges of assault with intent to commit rape and false imprisonment, campus police said. 
At approximately 2:30 a.m. on March 8, police responded to a call about an aggravated assault at the Theta Chi fraternity house in the 600 block of Gayley Avenue, west of campus. Police said the suspect, a fraternity member, allegedly choked the victim.
Paul Meyer, 20, was arrested without incident at the location. He was released Saturday on bond. A court arraignment was scheduled for April 4. 
The victim, a female UCLA student, was treated and released from Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
Police said the investigation is continuing and no further details were available.
