About 100 kidney transplant recipients and their donors — all participants in various living donor transplant "chains" — reunited today at Reagan UCLA Medical Center for a holiday celebration of giving and receiving the gift of life. The medical center has participated in more kidney transplant "chains" than any other transplant center in the world. In 2012, there were 22 such arrangements that took place, in part, at the Westwood Hospital. Recipients, donors and medical staff took time to gather for a photo.
