Learn to be a smart commuter to campus

|
bike.UCLA TransportationLearn how you can save time and money and be part of UCLA's efforts to create a healthy and sustainable campus. Staff Assembly is hosting a Learn-at-Lunch event to inform you about UCLA Transportation's alternative transportation programs. Commuting to UCLA by public transit, bicycle, carpool, vanpool or by foot may also make you eligible to join UCLA Transportation’s Bruin Commuter Club. Members who use sustainable transportation are eligible for exclusive benefits such as gift cards and discounted parking when you need it. To rsvp for the Thursday, Oct. 3 workshop, go here. It takes place noon to 1 p.m. in the Strathmore Building Lobby (Room 117 Strathmore). You can help the campus achieve its goal set in the UCLA Climate Action Plan to reduce UCLA employee single occupancy vehicle commuters to 50 percent by 2014.
