Poet Sabrina Youmans will read from her work, “Pacific Standard Time,” this Thursday, Dec. 5 at 4 p.m. at UCLA's Powell Library. Youmans, who is on staff in UCLA Athletics as a senior learning specialist supporting student athletes, will be joined at the reading by poets Chris Baron, Heather Eudy and Cali Linfor, her collaborators on the book “Lantern Tree: Four Books of Poems” (City Works Press, 2012), which won the San Diego Book Award for best poetry anthology. The free event is presented by UCLA literary and art journal “Westwind,” and takes place in Powell Library's Rose Gilbert Reading Room, South Rotunda.
