As part of UCLA’s annual True Bruin Welcome, more than 1,000 students gathered Wednesday morning to form a giant human number 100 that spanned the length of the intramural field. The event’s purpose was three-fold: a one-of-a-kind bonding experience for students before classes begin; an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest human number; and to recognize UCLA’s centennial in 2019.
