UCLA's Pilipino community and many campus organizations have banded together this week to collect donations on Bruin Walk as well as in north and south campus for disaster relief for Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda victims in the Philippines. On Friday, Nov. 22, the Mabuhay Collective, a group of 10 campus organizations, will present a benefit show in Covel Grand Horizon Ballroom to pay tribute to those lost through music and dance. Admission is free. Donations will be collected along with clothing, blankets and shoes. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the show ends at 8 p.m. For details, see this.
