UCLA News Week: Jerry Brown budget forum

This special edition of UCLA News Week reports on California governor-elect Jerry Brown's summit forum on the state education budget held at UCLA on Dec. 14. The forum, attended by about 200 education leaders, was held in the Ackerman Union Grand Ballroom and live-streamed on the Internet by UCLA Newsroom.
 
UCLA Chancellor Gene Block gave the opening remarks. State Treasurer Bill Lockyer, state Controller John Chiang and the Superintendent-elect of Public Instruction for California, Tom Torlakson, made presentations at the forum.
