UCLA police investigating sexual assault report


UCLA police are investigating a sexual assault reported by a female student.

The student told detectives that she was sexually assaulted while incapacitated between approximately 11:15 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 31) and 9 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 1) in a building in the North Village neighborhood of Westwood. Detectives are working with the student to identify the exact location of the reported crime. The crime report was taken about 5:45 p.m. on Sunday.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’8” and 160 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes. His was estimated to be 20 years old.

Police said detectives are pursuing a number of leads in the case.
