Bruins have a brand-new commuting option starting Friday, May 20, opening day for Metro’s Expo Line 6.6-mile extension. The route adds seven new stations that extend the line to downtown Santa Monica. Metro invites everyone to ride for free on Friday starting at noon and Saturday starting at 4:42 a.m.
Campus is just a short hop on the bus from the new Expo Line:
- From the Westwood/Rancho Park station, board the Santa Monica Big Blue Bus — Rapid 12, Route 12 or Route 8 — that runs every 5-7 minutes.
- From the Expo/Sepulveda station, take the Rapid 6 Culver CityBus, running every 8-10 minutes.
