Rafer Johnson
Rafer Johnson ’59 and a Special Olympics athlete were photographed in August 1972, during the first World Games to be held at UCLA. As the founder of Special Olympics California in 1969, Johnson has been deeply involved in the Special Olympics movement for decades.
