International student Mario Peng Lee's undergraduate research has focused on the application of AI and machine learning to natural language processing and understanding. In 2022, he and fellow Bruins founded AI Safety at UCLA, a student research community dedicated to increasing awareness and critical thinking about AI’s ethical and safety implications.
