To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the assassination of iconic civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., UCLA’s Black Graduate Students Association is hosting several speakers on Dickson Plaza on April 4. The ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 4 p.m. and go until about 5:30.

The remembrance will be held near the site where King spoke to nearly 5,000 Bruins on April 27, 1965.
