On Wednesday, April 30, Thomas Smith, professor and director of the UCLA Center for Tropical Research, will discuss this topic as well as the effort to build UCLA's Center for Integrative Development in Central Africa. The free event will be held at 7 p.m. at the Fowler Museum. RSVP by April 23.
