Noopur Raval

Noopur Raval is an assistant professor of Information Studies. She is interested in historically examining contemporary technologies with a special focus on majority world phenomena and the enduring legacies of colonialism in information and communication technologies.

Her expertise includes the social impact of algorithms, AI in education, AI and jobs, AI literacy, AI in libraries, AI in creative work, and AI and climate crisis in the Global South.
