Nadereh Pourat

Nadereh Pourat is associate director of the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research and an expert on examining health insurance and its impact on access, delivery of care by community clinics and other providers, assessment of medical homes, and also barriers to access to oral health.

Pourat, who is a professor-in-residence of health policy and management at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, also has extensive technical expertise in the design and implementation of surveys of individuals and professionals and has contributed to the design of the California Health Interview Survey.

She is also the director of the health economics and evaluation research program at the Center for Health Policy Research.
