Yuan Tian

Yuan Tian is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She's also affiliated with the UCLA Institute for Technology, Law & Policy. 

Tien's research focuses on developing novel technologies for the security, privacy, and safety of modern and emerging systems. Her areas of expertise include security and privacy, trustworthy machine learning, privacy regulations and compliance, and the Internet of Things (e.g., smarthome, smart city, smart health, and augumented reality.)
