Water Crisis Survival of the WettestTwo UCLA environmental experts will be part of a free panel discussion on March 19 focused on water and its importance, especially in the midst of California’s drought.
 
Madelyn Glickfield, assistant director for outreach and strategic initiatives and director of the UCLA Water Resources Group, and Glen MacDonald, director of the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability and a professor of geography and ecology and environmental biology, will join Kevin Whittier, general manager of the Long Beach Water Department for a KPCC Crawford Family Forum titled “Water Crisis: Survival of the Wettest.”
 
The event, which will be moderated by KPCC host Mat Kaplan and live-streamed, will be held at 474 S. Raymond Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91105. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m. RSVPs are encouraged.
