The national best selling debut novel of Justin Torres, assistant professor of English, titled “We the Animals,” was recently adapted into a film of the same name.
The film, directed by Jeremiah Zagar, was shown at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and won the festival’s NEXT Innovator Award. Through the distribution company, The Orchard, the film will be released in late summer or early fall 2018.
