A recent tribute to retiring faculty also marked the conclusion of a successful fundraising campaign for a new endowed fellowship at the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs.
On May 30, the Department of Urban Planning paid tribute to professor emeritus Robin Liggett and renowned “parking guru” Donald Shoup, and announced that more than $220,000 was raised for the Donald and Pat Shoup Endowed Fellowship in Urban Planning.
The fellowship, established by the Shoups, will support students at the Luskin School whose studies focus on transportation. The funding includes more than $70,000 in campaign contributions that were matched 2-to-1 in a gift from the Shoups. Learn more here.
