UCLA employees with Parking Structure 18 permits should instead park their vehicles in their choice of structures 1 or 8, while PS 18 is closed.
The Lot E pay station area has been reserved for ADA customers with permits from PS 18. As always, anyone with a disabled placard and a daily or monthly permit is also permitted to park in any open stall in any campus parking location, including pay station areas, at no additional cost.
Parking Structure 18 is located on Le Conte Avenue, between the Doris Stein Eye Research Center and Geffen Hall. Updates will be available from UCLA Transportation. UCLA Transportation anticipates reopening certain levels of PS 18 on Friday. Permit holders should be notified of these plans by the end of today.
Both structures 1 and 8 will have stacked parking available to accommodate the additional drivers, which will also affect people with permits for those structures. If additional parking is needed, overflow notices will be posted if needed to direct drivers to the appropriate parking location.
Bruins with permits for PS 18 also have the option of obtaining a free transit pass from UCLA Transportation.
Visitors who would normally use PS 18 should proceed to the Jules Stein Lot or Medical Plaza patient parking. If Medical Plaza patient parking reaches capacity, proceed to the PS 8 pay station area.
