Chancellor Gene Block sent a message on Feb. 11 about the recent rise in hate crimes.
This past year has seen an alarming rise in hate crimes against Asians, Asian Americans and other ethnic minorities. Communities thrive when we have compassion for one another, but break when we turn on one another. No one should be targeted for their ethnic heritage.
