Race in Hollywood SymposiumThe Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies at UCLA will hold a symposium, "Race and Hollywood," Thursday, Feb. 6. The symposium is part of the Bunche center’s ongoing project to create a comprehensive analysis of diversity — or the lack thereof — in the film and television industries. This event will highlight findings from the first full report on Hollywood diversity, which will be released this month. The event will feature papers by the project’s research teams and will be free and open to the public. The symposium will be held in the Library and Media Center, Haines Hall 135, from 12 noon-1 p.m. For more information on the project, visit the Ralph J. Bunche website.
