Though classes are canceled today at UCLA and UCLA Extension, all UCLA hospitals and clinics are open, and most other offices, departments and buildings across campus are conducting normal operations.

What’s open and closed on Thursday, Dec. 7:

UCLA Health hospitals and clinics are open.

UCLA libraries are open, with Powell and Young Research libraries open 24 hours while students prepare for finals.

All campus dining services and retail food operations are open.

The Wooden Center and Kinross Recreation Center are open, but Sunset Canyon Recreation facility is closed. All outdoor activities are cancelled due to air quality and all outdoor physical activity spaces are closed. All outdoor club sport practices are also cancelled. All indoor recreational activities are operational, but indoor activities are suggested to be low-impact, non-strenuous. In-person sales and services operations are closed and business is being directed to the recreation website.

All transportation services are open and operating normally.

The Arthur Ashe Student Health Center is open.

The dean’s office in the David Geffen School of Medicine has canceled all educational activities for today.

All UCLA School of Law classes and services are operating normally during the school’s finals week.

All in-person UCLA Extension classes at all locations (including Westwood, downtown Los Angeles and Woodland Hills) are canceled for today, Thursday, Dec. 7. All UCLA Extension students, instructors and staff should continue to check ucla.edu and this page for updates.

All Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) services are available; group and individual sessions are taking place as scheduled.

The Bruin Resource Center is open.

The Center for Accessible Education is open.

The registrar’s office is open and normal constituent service operations (in-person, phone, email) are available.

The Graduate Student Resource Center is open.

The UCLA Career Center is open.

The Community Programs Office is open, but off-campus events have been canceled because of traffic/road closures.

The LGBT Resource Center is open.

Student Legal Services is open.

The Dashew Center is open.

Hammer Museum at UCLA: The galleries are closed but the café, and store are open and tonight’s screening of “Get Out” will be held as scheduled at 7:30 p.m.

Fowler Museum at UCLA: Open but visitors are advised to check the Fowler’s Twitter and Facebook pages for the latest information.
