There will be a BruinCard service interruption beginning Monday, Dec. 12 at 5 a.m. that will conclude on Tuesday, Dec. 13 by end of day.

Some BruinCard features will be unavailable during the interruption, including:

  • BruinCard account purchases (easy pay, food only, etc.) will not be available at many on-campus merchants and all off-campus merchant locations.
  • BruinCards (including health care badges) cannot be printed either day. Production is expected to resume Dec. 14, during regular business hours.
  • Most features of the BruinCard website will be unavailable during the service interruption. Cardholders will not be able to make deposits online, access e-account, freeze their card, update their PINs or submit any online forms until service resumes.
  • Cardholders will not be able to check balances, purchase a visitor card, or make a deposit on BruinCard PHIL machines.

The BruinCard team scheduled this system maintenance following the completion of fall quarter finals to do their best to minimize the effects for the campus. Door and building access should remain functional during the interruption.

BruinCard staff will be available on call for emergency technical support during the entirety of the interruption at 310-825-2336.
