Before UCLA’s centennial was understandably put on hold due to the coronavirus crisis, the 100-year-old university had been celebrating the milestone with 12 marquee events, ranging from May 2019’s Alumni Day to October’s special edition of the biking extravaganza CicLAvia.
These limited-edition pins were handed out at the events — encouraging Bruins to attend and collect them all. The pin featuring the space shuttle and flask? That’s from the “Exploring Your Universe” science festival. The handshake? UCLA Volunteer Day. And, of course, the rainbow pin coincided with UCLA at the LA Pride Parade.
