With UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability, its Sustainability Committee, a commitment to slash emissions, save water and divert trash and dozens of other environmental initiatives, Earth Day isn’t the only time Bruins celebrate the planet. But that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do this Wednesday.

UCLA’s annual Earth Day Fair is the centerpiece of a month of related activities, including the release of the first environmental report card for Los Angeles County, in which UCLA gave the county a C+.

The fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 22 in Dickson Court North and is hosted by the UCLA student group E3 (Ecology, Economy, Equity). The event includes a “green chef” competition at noon, a raffle and tables manned by a wide variety of student groups and outside organizations.
