We took you inside the San Diego Sports Arena for the men’s Final Four in the spring of 1975, and to a women’s carceral facility in suburban L.A. County to witness a heartfelt education project change lives.

We whisked you from the world of a Spanish missionary in Mexico,1577 to Duke Ellington’s free concert right on campus in Royce Hall, 1937.

Then to the South Bay, to the research park, to downtown, to Cameroon. There was new poetry to listen to and a road trip playlist of summer tunes. There was even a squirrel hawking real estate in the sculpture garden in a cartoon!

The magazine in ’24 took you on a truly wild ride: into the future, then the past; we traveled far, we traveled wide. Hope you enjoyed the journey, stay tuned for more in ’25!
